from Liz Cheney's speech, yesterday? @ Ronald Reagan Library in CA.

“My fellow Americans, we stand at the edge of an abyss and we must pull back. One of my Democratic colleagues said to me recently he looked forward to the day when he and I could disagree again. And believe me I share that sentiment. Because when we can disagree again about substance and policy that will mean our politics have righted themselves.

That will mean we’ve made the decision to reject anti-democratic forces. That we’re going to reject toxicity and we’re going to reject the worst kind of racism, bigotry and anti-Semitism that characterize far too much of our politics today. History has told us that what begins with words ends as far worse.”
