It may do little good for the bullies who seem to thrive on making others miserable, who they, themselves may be a victim of abuse at home, but for those who are subject to bullies--they need this. You feel bad enough as a kid when you fail at sports, don't have the looks, have that dynamic popular personality or just seem to not click in a very click-able world. They need to know they are not alone and that it is not THEM that has the problem. Society needs to remember we are all part of the spice cabinet of life. Not everyone is going to be the salt and pepper people. Those spice people, who may not look as grand or seem as grand as the others add a lot to life to everyone around them. How dull would we be as a world full of clones? We need variety--we need spice--some people need to realize just because you are not like THEM does not make you a wrong or bad person. In nature everything thrives side by side--flowers,weeds,a vegetable patch. When we see it with the eye we see color and we see how everything seems to get along in the scheme of things. We cannot have a "Monopoly Board" of humanity. We are all different for a reason. It's sad that we have to keep telling kids(and yes even adults) this year after year. Hollywood does not help but now even corporate america is not helping. They often go by appearance when they hire. Unless it's a modeling job why do looks come into it? If it appears that you know what soap and water are for and even well worn clothes are clean that should be enough. It seems that the bullies go onto being those that are in the hiring dept and they feel better with their inadequacies by making others feel inadequate.
