My half native american (creek) blood grandma would balk at this. Native americans were at peace with the natural world, took only what they needed and gave back to nature more than she needed to thrive. The WHITE european immigrants came, murdered, enslaved the natives, shot all the buffalo, raped and raped the land for it's resources, mechanized, built, ravaged and ruined.

Not to to nit pick, but the first modern humans, first appear in the fossil record, in Africa, sometime between 100,000 and 200,000 years ago.
