Daniel Ellsberg on Thom Hartmann. It doesn't get much better than that. A helpful discussion to gain a better understanding of the big picture for Snowden and the shredded rotting carcass of our former Democracy. (I find this entire thing confusing and Ellsbergs POV helped clear up a lot of things for my understanding)

which is a very dangerous man in our country ruled by greedy corrupt corporate elites who only respect money.

He could have made millions off the information being collected by the corporate contractor for the NSA. But instead of using that data to make money, selling it off to the highest bidder, he released the information of the secret program itself to the American people.

The Chinese may be gleeful, but so far I haven't seen any evidence that Snowden received anything from them in exchange for anything.

Time will tell, but so far your statement is merely an assumption, a guess, a conspiracy theory.

He was able to leave Hong Kong without a passport (valid) and with a warrant for his arrest

Where is your proof? I haven't read that anywhere. I think he still had his passport when he left Hong Kong. Apparently he can get one issued by a country giving him asylum. I don't think we know which country will do that yet. Do you have a link to a news media story on this? Something reputable, not some right-wing blog.

"Who will watch the watchers?" Well, it certainly won't be the likes of folks like John Kerry, or Diane Feinstein...

These fools are in charge and Mr. Obama has no fucking chance of any change we can believe in. Truth...
