The standards set 40 years ago are not currently valid. A up to date list needs to be written.

I say, considering the fact that Two of the Branches of our federal government have high ranking members who would deny effective discrimination still exists and wish finely focused protective legislation removed; proves that discrimination exists and these protections are need in a much broader scope. Ergo the list of states with a poor record of voter rights is all of them.

A simple list.

I can see that becoming a political game considering how corrupt our democracy is.

The Dancing Supremes did this so that RepubliCONS can keep the house. They know this congress will never be able to agree on anything so they opened the flood gates to keep democrats from voting. Once they keep the house, then nothing is coming through congress and come 2014, good luck voting at all.

See the 2 lead ups to this, the approval of Gay Marriage Rights and Obamacare were done to keep the masses from rioting when they (the Supremes and the RepubliCONS money bags Koch brothers) make it impossible for anyone but a rich RepubliCON to vote.
