I hope he doesn't get off for what he did. Yeah, she kicked him on his legs as she was piss poor drunk and I'm sure he barely felt it. He's nothing but a thug. And you notice how when the other cop said he did nothing after he kicked the woman, the coward looked down to the floor. I hope his goose gets cooked!

hit someone else in the video. she might have had too much to drink but I think or I believe that is her natural frame of mind. I believe that she thinks she can do that and get away with it because who's going to do anything to her.

hit me in the first place. If needed I could defend myself because the taekwondo would probably kick in (figuratively and literally). From my experiences to date, and I am 61, the nicest people I have run into are from Nebraska and New York City (of all places). Oklahoma not so much. The most obnoxious people I have dealt with are from Texas. Generally in the south they are friendly to your face but mostly a front but being from the "north" does not help.

From your comment that I originally commented on you were perceived by me as someone who lacks empathy, just saying!

On edit: The cop really didn't have to kick her. That was unprofessional on his part and not required considering her attempt was pretty lame. To kick someone in the position that she in shows a total lack of humanity on the cop's part.

you being black, as you stated in a post downstream from here, puts your comments in a different light. The police should not be kicking or abusing anyone like the women was treated in the video. The cop has no humanity and should not be carrying a badge or a gun. There seems to be a real problem in this country with the police. Some of them are out of control and the other police officers are only looking the other way. Your point about "white privilege hits a nerve and is a valid point.

I live in the most conservative county in Ohio and the local police departments suck eggs and I would also say that for the entire Cincinnati metro area. I live just north of Cincinnati. This type of behavior is not isolated but appears to be an issue nationwide.

I don't think all Oklahoman's think like the poster that I responded to but you have to admit Oklahoma is as red as it gets in this country and I am sure the opinion he expressed here is not that atypical in Oklahoma.

mess with the police. they tell me to shut up, i shut up. I informed my kids no matter how wrong the officer is just shut up and do what they tell you. don't argue, don't try to explain, don't roll your eyes, if spoken to answer with a yes sir, no sir or ma'am if needed. when most black people i know see a white person do what she did, we refer to it as white privilege or as dave chappelle says his friend told the officer, "i didn't know I couldn't do that".

...appear to think it is OK to live in a police state, where wearing an uniform makes you magically a 'Superior Being' to whom you should totally surrender. I am not there yet -- guess it'll take a few more kicks to the head before I surrender all my hard-gained rights...which are quickly eroding due to people like you.

I rather be dead than cowered by my own Government. No matter how many times it takes, I'll keep reminding them they work for me and not the other way around. And they need to uphold the laws they swore to protect, not abuse me for expecting to be covered by them.

Let me see...

1.) She's drunk
2.) Got her hands cuffed behind her back, and in a seated position
3.) She's a woman (respect)
4.) She kicks a cop's leg, while not wearing shoes

And in return, gets a martial-arts-like kick to the head (with work boots on), from a cop that afterwards coldly returns to what he was doing, like nothing happened.

There is something extremely wrong with that guy!!!
