Head of anti-corruption panel took $1 million thru loophole

RT-America • Published on Dec 12, 2013

Kathleen Rice, Nassau County DA, is co-chair of Andrew Cuomo's Commission to Investigate Public Corruption. The commission just issued their first report, which condemns legal but deplorable actions, such as pay-to-play arrangements, misuse of funds, conflicts of interest, and loopholes. Funny thing is, Kathleen Rice took more than $1 million through the very loopholes she condemns. The Resident (aka Lori Harfenist) discusses.

- Well, it's a good thing she's a DA, huh? They're cheaper by the dozen......

''The Ministry of Peace concerns itself with war, the Ministry of Truth with lies, the Ministry of Love with torture and the Ministry of Plenty with starvation. These contradictions are not accidental, nor do they result from from ordinary hypocrisy: they are deliberate exercises in doublethink.'' ~George Orwell, 1984
