(25,699 posts)Six grand a month? I would be willing to cook a well-done steak for that kind of money!
Though I'd still feel dirty for doing it.

(32,723 posts)Pick a state. Any state.
Sort so the highest priced places are listed first and check out the bedroom to bathroom ratio.
Like this:
10 bedrooms/16 bathrooms.
And these people are trying to convince us that they aren't full of shit?

(12,233 posts)places to use a bathroom (6 extra, apparently) spread througout the home that is so large that an accident could be had if they didn't have the 16 baths. LOL. Mostly it's for show. Most of us share a bathroom with family and friends that stop in. Any parties that a home like this hosts doesn't trust their fellow party goers enough to allow them to share a bathroom space with their "friends".
Oh, and who the hell needs a 10 bedroom home. Many of these wealthy people have 1 to 3 children. Mitt Romney is a bit of an outlier with 5 boys and a bunch of grandchildren (environment be damned, since the wealthy use much more resources for their amusement than most). I couldn't imagine looking at the electric bill or the water bill. AND sadly, this is just 1 of there many homes they own. They don't even spend most of their time at these monstrosities. How many families in need or vets needing to find their way in society again could we house in a home like this. It would be fabulous to have a nice home, shared with similar PTSD vets in one harmonious looking home. Repleat with their own bed/ baths and common space, pool/ spa/ outdoor entertaining spot, probably a tennis court or basketball court in the back, overlooking a golf course, with a great big kitchen and space to come together and focus on dealing with PTSD types of issues. This is the type of home that should be taking care of those who are in the most need. Give them a place where they can relax, have nice things, limited noise, and convenient comforts. Instead, those whom a home like this would benefit, are left rotting under a bridge; self-medicating their mental health issues at the end of a bottle or needle.
