I've been an "over-reactor" ever since Northridge. Probably PTSD, lol. Still a bit shaky this AM kestrel91316 Mar 2014 #3

Apparently they consider me to be an 'over reactor'. I think I'm just ultra sensitive. I've experienced more than a few earthquakes, and they really knock my internal gyro off kilter, for an extended period of time. Even the mild ones we have experienced in Michigan can send my adrenaline on high gear so I completely empathize with these anchors!

Supposedly humans don't often notice them under a 3.0, but it was a low-light condition and I suddenly had enormous trouble walking in a straight line. Sent it in, and despite living in a small, sleepy mountain town of less than 4k residents, some 60 other people had reported it as well.

And this was at 2am.

It always baffles me why my LA friends remain so blase, since most of them were living in LA when the Northridge quake hit! But, even though they tease me about my quake related discombobulation, they also are very understanding and accommodating.

Those news commentators did pretty good, but given the rigging and lights above their heads, they were STILL a bit slow on the draw getting under the table.
