The Republicans claimed after Obama killed bin Laden that he was strutting around DC bragging that he won the War On Terror and there were no more terrorists out there. Their whole "scandal" is based on the idea that the Obama Administration covered up the attack in Benghazi because it went against their prior claim that the War On Terror was OVER.

Keep in mind that this was only a claim made within the Republican Party behind closed doors to each other and had no basis in reality.

They really believe it still to this day and that is the whole basis for their claims of a coverup. They claim that the administration denied it was a terror attack and they went full throttle with that.

Remember rule#1 with Conservatives: NEVER admit you are wrong.

Now that they've said that is the way it went down they are LOCKED into that lie. Trapped by their own stupid rule. They can only hope their own base believes them.

Good goddamn thing their base would believe them if they said the sky was green.

Seriously, who believes these bastards anyhow.

The facts don't matter, just the bumper sticker bullshit.

"Benghazi" is just some kind of magic word for these assholes.
