seeing those posts or forwarded emails from someone I didn't know screaming about our "net neutrality." I did not completely understand what it meant, and I did look into it. After educating myself, I did find it scary and/or frustrating.
However, the knee-jerk response from others was "there's no threat to our net neutrality...there's nothing to worry about...it's just another nut screaming nonsense." ...I agreed with that response, and figured "net neutrality" was another doomsayer thing.
Well, 7 or so years later, it's real...and just like that...net neutrality is gone.
I'm going to study those "nut" responses more carefully from here on out...but they'll probably be back to sending them out in ink and paper.
