After all, very few people are going to think of Miss USA as "the voice of her generation of young women."

Google search for Miss USA returns over 300 million results.

Game of Thrones: 60 million.

HBO: 30 million

Lena Dunham: 17 million

to be able to tell women when, what, how they can believe it's their body. And there are THOUSANDS more out there. Waiting for hubby, the preacher and boss to tell them when and how high to jump.

No one with any sense would announce that the solution to a massive amount of home invasions or robberies occurring was to learn self defense. More importantly, if someone did announce that, there wouldn't be a bunch of people defending it.

The only group that comes close to the victim blaming women face for rape over other crimes is the NRA, and that really ought to tell you why it's a problem right there.
