For TBT an Adiai Stevenson campaign ad.

1. I don't recall the ad,

not sure that we had tv at that point, but I do recall my family was not happy about Adlai's loss to Ike, my first political memory!

3. Me too, elleng. We didn't have TV at that time, but I do remember my parents actually crying

(and drinking) the night Adlai Stevenson lost that election.

4. Just checked. We had TV and I watched some of the Army/McCarthy hearings,

that was '54. so no-go with TV for '52 election.

2. My father worked on

his campaign as a volunteer, he was a college student at the time.
