Cliven Bundy Ignited a Hellstorm of Right Wing Hate

Ever since Cliven Bundy refused to pay the government the one million plus dollars that he owes them by having an armed standoff with US forces at his ranch, anti-government offshoots of his extremist activities have been popping up all over the country. The results are predictable – armed men and women are committing murders, threatening law enforcement officers, and denouncing the government of the United States. These are treasonous activities, and they are clearly on the rise.

1. It was up to the Obama administration to enforce the rule of law

Just as the Wall Street criminals were let off, the criminals pointing guns at law enforcement officials have been empowered by the lack of legal repercussions. This same ineptness of authority is the reason Obama is seen as weak on foreign policy as well.
There are serious consequences for inaction and we may be at the cusp of a possible horrific future.

I wish you were our POTUS. You sound like what we need at this time. Oh and I presume you wouldn't be a black man killing a bunch of white people, POTUS or not. Now that would have set off THE FIRESTORM. And the banker in jail. Obama would have been impeached and thrown out. They have much more power than any POTUS and so do the RW jerks in this country thanks to the weakness of the DEMOCRATIC PARTY and it's weak congressional leadership for the last 40+ fucking years. 7. I have been and always will be a life long Democrat

I was a delegate for Obama for his first election. I don't give a flying fuck what color his skin is. I am extemely proud of my country for electing him to our highest office.
I believe the office of the President sets the tone of conduct for our nation and I have been around for the last sixty+ years to understand that our President is THE commander in chief and with that comes the responsibilities thereof.
I also call them as I see them.

if you perceived I was saying you had negative issues with BO's skin color, I was not saying that. My point, which I evidently failed in making was that while you took issue with Obama not enforcing the rule of law, I was stating that if our POTUS has aggressively enforced the law with BLM and other armed agents of government than we would have had a RW firestorm that would still be raging today. Those clowns were ready to use women and children as human shields. Now IF there had been firefights, who do you think the RW racist party would be demonizing as the brown tyrant killing white women and children? One guess. No I can only hope that the government agencies are looking at other avenues, quietly, at addressing the problems of the racist RW upsurge in this country since the election of Barack Obama.

Concerning the bankers, if any powerful agent of the banking cartel in this country had been arrested and sent to prison, the impeachment proceedings would still be grinding on.

No, I feel/hope his tact is otherwise. I was not accusing you of any racial negativity. I promise.

One small aside: I feel our Party 's move to the center is not a good move, personally. I feel it has been seen as weakness and hailed by the RW as a victory. Sorry for any misunderstanding.

11. Do not think for an instant that if a 99%er or other liberal protestor

were to be witnessed pointing a weapon at a law enforcement officer the shit would not hit the fan.
It is a fault of all legal entities involved when laws are allowed to be openly flaunted.
We either live by the rules of law or we enter into chaos and I personally hold the POTUS as our chief law enforcement officers.
I believe he has sworn an oath to that purpose.

5. If we forget the actions of the Bundy Militia it sends a clear signal that

we accept these vigilante actions.
If we turn a blind eye when right wing terrorists begin taking "target practice" on the U.S, border we send a clear message that we welcome this new "Rule of Law".

8. The fiasco at Waco hangs over the whole Bundy affair.

The federal government cannot afford to engage in another blood bath. I suspect they are building a case against every gun-toting militia geek that was at the Bundy ranch, identifying them through photos and video, and one of these days we'll have a massive coordinated operation to arrest these people while they are sleeping and unarmed. And there won't be any sympathy for them except on the lunatic fringe of the right wing.
