Disturbing new PBS doc on rise of Putin: Not a failing democracy, but thriving totalitarianism?

Mind-blowing. I didn't know Putin was so personally involved in the systematic plundering of Russia after the fall of the USSR, killing those in his way, making him one of the richest men in the world, with something like $40 BILLION in the bank. (No wonder he can afford so many trolls.) From KGB agent to neo-Czar, Putin got his start in embezzling by stealing the emergency funds for feeding people during the food shortages in the early 1990s.
