(Stratfor)George Friedman, US considers preventing a Russian-German alliance its primary objective

The primordial interest of the United States (...) has been the relationship between Germany and Russia, because united they are the only force that could threaten us, and to make sure that doesn't happen.

All in a day's work for the Dulles Bros. at Sullivan & Cromwell, when America wielded power through Wall Street law firms instead of the CIA.

...with all the machinations to drive Germany and Russia apart, the US is actually doing the opposite.

The US tried to get Russia kicked out of SWIFT. Instead SWIFT gives Russia a seat on the Board.

The US tries to get Germany and France to issue more sanctions against Russia. But instead they sit down together like adults and broker a ceasefire in Ukraine.

They try to isolate Russia financially using the Petrodollar as a bludgeon by getting the Saudis to ignore supply/demand productions figures. Which is fine by them since it'll allow them to drive those pesky shale oil operations down. And yet China and Russia enter into another agreement to use only their currencies to transact business with each other and fuck the US dollar.

- At every step of the way the idiots who run things here are losing ground. And it's about to get worse. Americans are about to have a rude awakening with REALITY.

...our own lapdog is sniffing around the Chinese for a handout and joining the banking empire they're building -- even as the US screams at them to STOP!!!

- And if all that weren't bad enough, now the Chinese have the audacity to take out billboards in Bangkok announcing their takeover of the US Petrodollar's #1 Position as THE WORLD CURRENCY:

The U.S. does not have a dog in this fight. An American offer of billions of dollars to dissuade Ukrainians from accepting Moscow's offer was doing the bidding of powerful European interests, not ours.

Why do we in the U.S. feel it necessary to thwart Russian efforts in various parts of the world? Russia rightfully looks at this as a hostile act.

We instead should reach out to make Russia a friend and ally in combating radical Islam and China, which now threaten the world's peace and stability.

The Cold War has been over for two decades. We should stay out of Ukraine.

...is the U.S. And that's primarily because we haven't had to work for a living in a mighty long time. Being the world's currency has made the US soft and lazy. Capitalism has made us corrupt.

We are not seeing another changing of the guard here. The track we are on is unsustainable and must be abandoned. I see it and admit this. Most other people see this, and won't. This is where we are now.

- To continue in this vein it to accept oblivion.......
