(12,712 posts)Having read a bit on the subject, getting it out there and exposing the idea to the public mindset is a good idea, no matter how they respond.
This issue is going to become more important with time because automation is going to increase, (at least until our civilization crashes for various, obvious reasons) and opportunities for employment, (especially with a livable wage) will decrease.
Otherwise, you get a very, very sordid picture of misery that increases in magnitude. What other solution, (besides massive genocide) will work?

Oh, I forgot, that is considered "socialism," which is deplored in the US.
