... that any candidate for the U.S. presidency would seriously entertain such a hate-filled and ignorant question. What's even more disturbing is that such a candidate is leading in the polls.

Insulting 47% of Americans will do a lot of damage. Insulting Muslims? Don't expect a major backlash.

Seems to me the guy was claiming there are camps here in America where they're training to kill ignorant assholes like him.

Well,....we can dream.

because I am not a Mexican.

Then they came for the Muslims, and I did not say anything, because I am not a Muslim.

Then they came for the labor unions, the teachers, the college professors, the intellectuals, the dissidents, the public employees, the Medicaid recipients, the Medicare recipients, the Social Security recipients, the gays, the infirm, the "takers", the families on food stamps, the "non-productive", the atheists, and everyone else who does not properly serve the interests of the "Uber-rich".

I really, really hate to make a Nazi reference anywhere, because it is nearly never justified, but come on. This is more than a "dog whistle".

Question: When will we get rid of the Muslims?

Answer: There are many things we are looking at.

Remember John McCain's response to the same brand of crazy teabaggery in 2008? No wonder Trump doesn't respect Mccain- Not fringe enough.
