3. you are way wrong to casually dismiss and laugh at this movement

These 3 days of protest were supported by a wide range of activist groups and faith groups with participation from families of victims of police murder and abuse.

If RT covered the protest then that is to their credit. If mainstream media failed to cover it then we should ask why.

Putin TV doesn't give a shit about "families of victims of police murder and abuse"

Rise Up is a zero. Many other groups like BLM have way more cred on this issue

5. sorry you have no fucking clue what you are talking about

These were 3 days of action sponsored by groups and individuals with deep roots in community. Some of these groups have been active and leading on police and prison reform for a long time, in New York and nationally.

7. No you really don't. And you are making your ignorance 100% clear by focusing on one group

and focusing on how some news coverage came from RT, instead of acknowledging the alliance of groups and individuals participating in these actions.

Here's the article from the other thread for anyone else reading this thread--it nails the Stalinist parasitical semi-cult that is RCP. http://talkingpointsmemo.com/dc/left-wing-radicals-ferguson-missouri-protests
I suspect most of the other groups overlap and are a similiar ilk. I bet Farrakhan's Nation of Islam was there too.

You seem to be against progressives with is a bit out of sync with this site but whaterver. Same with using propaganda vids made by and paid for by a homophobic freedom-stomping authoritarian society. I guess you see no problem with that, and actually there are quite a few anti-democracy Putin fans on DU who will agree with you.

9. RT has it's problems. But then CNN and MSNBC have their problems too.

They are horrible for news about Russia. But sometimes they do good coverage of US protest movements. Which is what I'm interested in because I live in the United States.

US media has a pro-US bias, and cable news outlets like MSNBC have a pro-corporate capitalist bias.

CNN and MSNBC routinely fail to cover crimes against humanity committed by US allies like Saudi Arabia including repression of LGBT people.

10. That's so funny to compare RT to CNN or MSNBC

the only near-equivalent is FOX. Essentially, when you push RT vids you might as well be pushing FOX News.

US media regularly covers Saudi human rights--it's just that the violations there are so constant that it's not news in a way because it's always the same fucked up gov and society doing the same fucked up things, so only the latest even-worse case gets in the news.

There's plenty of sources you can cite about these protests without implicitly endorsing homophobic freedom-smashing dictatorship's propaganda channel. If you insist on doing that, it can only be assumed that you do in fact support or at least give a pass to Putin's dictatorship, for whatever reason.
