Why weren't Bush and Cheney questioned separately and under oath?

Did you notice Condi's body language when she was questioned? She was completely different than when questioned earlier. She appeared to be very afraid and on the defensive.

It is a travesty that these criminals have gotten away with this.

This is the reason they stole the 2000 election. They had this entire 9/11 operation already in long term planning, including the Iraq War response, long before Bush took office. In that way it is similar to earlier criminal right wing actions like Iran—Contra.

You also might have noticed that since 9/11 the media has appeared to have mostly abandoned investigative journalism. The independence of the US media has been deeply compromised.

Surely millions of us recognize that 9/11 has never been thoroughly and objectively investigated.

7. When I see how Kinda Sleezy Rice was treated with kid gloves in that hearing

17. I am not convinced about building 7 but I don't doubt they were expecting some kind of attack

and were willing to let it occur so they could get into the wars they wanted. I imagine they were probably expecting something less catastrophic than what Osama dreamed up. It just seems like they let them walk in for the touchdown not realizing the trade centers would come down and I think Bush was a little taken back that the attack turned out as big as it did. But it would not surprise me at all if they wanted to allow some kind of attack so they could ramp up the Military Industrial Complex and start taking over countries in the Middle East. The Clinton Administration had stopped a crap load of attacks before 9/11 because they were really making an attempt to do something. Yes, I think Cheney convinced Bush he would be popular as a war time president and all they needed to do was let Osama get one strike at us.
