(34,661 posts)you knew this was to happen. You do not turn the ship of time on a dime,it takes a decade of purposeful and deliberate efforts by some with the Financial and the Bully Pulpit to achieve their wants of goals. The Hidden Agenda of the 1% crowd is Fascism.

(8,267 posts)The corporate megalomaniacs (who've usurped our media, our politics, AND our global economy) continue to work hard to promote the wealth carrot meme (and the "type A" people meme) so that they can present as the benevolent (and righteous) leaders who create jobs and wealth, and promote the general welfare of our nation.
Too many people continue to buy this lie (at least a third of us, now mostly Republicans). However, the internet is and continues to be a force of change, because the information these cretins have long sought to hide from public purview is OUT there, and many of us (especially our younglings) are consuming it.
Our eyes are opened now. We CAN and WILL work together to break the fetters forged by these greedy megalomaniacs. We need a "leader" who will work beside us and with us. Senator Bernie Sanders is that person.

(34,661 posts)Thinking more like 45%,and that is just a unscientific guess, basing by what we encountered during the last 11 months. Would have thought the internet would have diminished that number to near 20%,but Fake Noise is a huge counter weight. And that is the crux of our Nations stupid.
