Hillary’s Lead Is Eroding – America Is Feeling The Bern

The latest round of polls show that Bernie Sanders has pulled within 4 points of Hillary Clinton, closing 14 points of an 18 point gap. With just three weeks to go until the first caucus, Bernie is looking better than ever.

Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses this.

Bernie is in a unique position...because he's not well-known and has not been a Democrat, he can change the conversation...which he has done. As to the "what can he do with Congress when he gets there?"

Those who are beholden are beholden. I think that's what Obama didn't get. It's all wine and roses when lining up the donations, but then it's bills to pay when there. That tripped him up.

This also bring up another unique possibility...people talking about down-ticket...if he proves he can go pretty much straight to the people...use the Bully Pulpit more...control the narrative? How do we know, it's never happened much in my lifetime. Imagine the Robber Barons worst enemy...irrelevancy.

Even in Bernie's 8 years, mostly he can change the course a bit. But he will have proved it can be done, then another upstart gets the message, then another...again, who knows?
