for Bernie.

Updated to give the whole picture as I did in the other Candidate Intro posts
Oldest candidate from both parties, would be first Jewish President, Has a Green Party politician brother in the UK, sings badly, and was a sloppy student who the dean advised to take a year off.

make many people doubt the viability of the candidate. I have not yet gotten to O'Malley's intro or Clinton's, but I simply condensed these "things you didn't know about the candidate into one sentence. I didn't feel good typing it, but that is absolutely how I heard it.

Maybe the intros will be tough on all candidates. I hope so.

Does Polar Bear plunges, endorsed Hillary, has an awesome mom, inspired a cool character on The Wire, plays in a Celtic rock band. I'm sorry but that has a different flavor to me than the items about Sanders.

11. Hillary's Intro:

Friends with Donald Trump, Young Republican in College, wrote to Nasa, didn't pass the bar in DC but did in Arkansas, won a grammy.

This intro split the two. O'Malley got the best intro. He also got a standing O at the end. Good for him.

From my perspective, this is what I saw; Hillary did a great job of being presidential, though she frequently kept talking excessively and failed to get to the point of her answer. O'Malley came across as a bit stiff and unnatural, I thought. I cant tell if he's been over-coached, or maybe under coached.. but I don't think it he was his true self on that stage except for a few great moments. Bernie, I thought, stole the show. He immediately awed the crowd with his forthright answers. He didn't take an hour to answer their questions, and his empathy was very genuine. Also, his sense of humor was great!

So, in terms of who did well, Bernie did the best, though Hillary made a very good showing, O'Malley had a kind of rough night.

The biggest loser, though, were the posters to the chat window. People who rampantly posting all kinds of unsubstantiated nasty crap... Bernie supporters, Hillary supporters... and even an O'Malley supporter or two. Pretty much take the absolute worst you've seen here and distil it, and that's what was in the chat window.

That's my two cents anyway.
