TYT: Will Scott Walker Pardon Steven Avery?

With the release of Making A Murderer on Netflix, the series has caused an outcry for Steven Avery to be released from prison. Governor of Wisconsin, Scott Walker, has the ability to pardon Avery but says that he won’t. Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian hosts of The Young Turks discuss.

Why do you think Walker won’t pardon Avery? Will it hurt Walker in the future if he doesn’t? Let us know in the comments below.

“Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) said over the weekend that he would never pardon Steven Avery — or anyone else for that matter — because it would “undermine” the criminal justice system.

On this week’s edition of WFRV’s Newsmaker Sunday, host Kris Schuller noted that Netflix’s hit show Making a Murderer had caused many people to call for Avery’s release. Avery was freed from prison in 2003 after spending 18 years in prison for a rape he did not commit — only to be convicted of murder and sent back to prison in 2005.”

... of Wisconsin's law enforcement and courts, as demonstrated by the crucifixion of Steven Avery, not once, but TWICE, makes it a little easier to understand how an evil little piece of shit like Walker managed to get elected. The entire governmental system of Wisconsin is a fetid cesspool infested by morally bankrupt sociopaths.
