SANDERS MEETS with *PRESIDENT OBAMA at White House, PRESS EVENT Afterwards Jan. 27
Sanders remarks on how his vigorous campaign is doing and that in their meeting, he and President Obama discussed foreign and domestic policy and a bit of politics. The senator reminds the American people that under the leadership of Pres. Obama and Vice Pres. Biden the nation was brought back on track at a time when the world's financial system was on the verge of collapse in 2009 and there were massive job losses and disruptions after Pres. Bush left office.

The VT Democratic presidential candidate spoke of the productive meeting, his relationship with Obama, how the campaign is doing, recent rallies on the trail, and he fielded reporters' questions about Clinton's call for a new debate and other topics.
