She was one of the judges and performers tonight on the last American Idol show. I've never been a fan of hers or American Idol, but just happened to catch her performance tonight and was so moved by her song Piece by Piece which she barely got through due to tears. This is a recorded version, but be sure to catch tonight's Idol performance when it shows up on youtube. This country has a lot of daddies missing in action...

1. I was in tears the first time I heard this.

Powerful.

2. More powerful to see her perform it live. The entire room was in tears.

And she said the first time she wrote and performed it she was pregnant with her first
child, and now she's pregnant again which brought up all the feelings of the song again.

3. I just went to youtube to look for it. Not posted yet.

But it will be... I wonder if this is part of her own story?

4. Yes. And very emotional for her. I'll bet there is an interview with her

on youtube or someplace where she talks about it.

5. In fact, there is, just found it and watched it. And yes, this is somewhat her story.
