Crazy that this should even be discussed and symptomatic of a possible coming "idiocracy." Maybe some desperate unemployed in the Southwest see this as a job opportunity (?) Our "crumbling" infrastructure is less important throughout the country? Now THERE"S a job-making project worth considering. I would like to believe The Donald is running a big scam and would enjoy getting nominated spouting stuff George Wallace would have never gotten away with nearly fifty years ago. I can see why his huuuuge ego would enjoy getting nominated. I can't see why he would actually WANT to be POTUS. Can a man with all the advantages and experiences he's had really want to be so constricted as to actually want the responsibilities of having the power(as opposed to KNOWING he could get the power)? I doubt it. Either this is a GENIUS scam, or he truly is crazy.
No thinking person really believes Reagan brought down the Berlin wall with a few words to Gorbachev. I had relatives in West Germany during those years who truly thought the USSR would eventually just give it up long before they did. Frankly they had no really personal stake in it, but although it went from some brutal enforcement to a gradual laxness, it just couldn't be maintained forever with no really German citizen support on either side of it. What a mess we'd have with our own wall. Either Trump is truly crazy, or he's playing us all (but to what purpose)?
