Or so it appears. How come she is the only one calling him out on his bullshit? Why is the rest of the media silent about these things? Are there no other investigative journalists who are interested in - you know- that old fashioned thing- REPORTING THE TRUTH in NEWS? Pisses me off- not that I'm ungrateful for Rachel- she is amazing and brilliant. But it would sure be nice to see Brian Williams or any of the nightly news talking heads or even one of the Sunday Shows- discuss this. Out loud.

The BP oil spill. The rest of the country believes that there is/was a 20 billion fund b/c BP said here was. That is an outright lie. BP has said that they have settled all of the claims. That too is an outright lie. All they have settled are the people driven to financial desperation who had to take $5k for individuals or $25k for businesses b/c in contravention of the Oil Pollution Act (OPA) which requires them to pay the victims quarterly for their losses. This was designed to keep businesses from closing and people not losing their cars and homes. Local reporters have told me they are not allowed to do negative BP stories. Where is Anderson Cooper, or for that matter, Rachel Maddow? No follow up, zero. General Electric, Comcast and the like are not about to let the truth be told!

It's not like they need to report what he's saying is a lie. If they don't, Romney can repeat it again and again and again.

It's what free $peech is all about.
