Last Week Tonight with John Oliver: Congressional Fundraising

Did you know your elected representative spends two thirds of their time fundraising? No wonder the political trend is to pander to the needs of the wealthy while ignoring the needs of most of us.



Hats off to Steve Israel for opening the curtain a bit about this clearly unbalancing practice.

who have ruled against publicly financed elections. Wish we'd have someone who truly loves our Democratic Republic on the bench instead of some corporate tool.

Spent more YEARS than I wanted working in a call center for a living and it is something I fear more than death. it's soul crushing to do that work. ugh.

That is how a Congress critter acts when they are no longer going to have to play games. Too few make that decision before they decide to retire.

Highly recommended.
