3. Went kayaking and swimming on a beautiful Maine lake with my daughter. & breakfast in bed and steak

for dinner. Family was very good to daddy today.

first concert i went to in NY, was the Hudson Clearwater Revival (actually on the Jersey side); and Pete sang. IMO: if there's anyone around who could be termed a saint, it's Pete.

7. One of my favourites too...

I have a nice fingerstyle, solo arrangement I play on the guitar, but when it comes to singing Guantanamera in Spanish this gringo has a real problem with getting those "Rs" to rrrrrroll in an authentic manner like Pete.

8. Trilling the r's can be difficult to learn.

When I took Spanish in high school, we did this exercise to learn the technique.

erre, con erre cigarro
erre, con erre barril
rapido corren los carros del ferrocarril

But in this version Pete did over-trill a bit in the last verse. Quiero is not trilled, but he did anyway. Suerte isn't trilled either. Usually the trill is when a word begins with r or has the rr in it, for exampe tierra, arroyo, etc.

Hope this is some consolation....and btw, I can't play the guitar...so my hat is off to you for that.
