2. So Spot-On

One of my biggest complaints has been that anytime someone has complained about Hillary, her people scream "sexism, sexism." There are also less than subtle jabs at "racism," as absurd as "sexism." Lately we've had accusations of anti-Semitism.

The campaign has been about a lot of large-stroke accusations, totally without foundation, against one of the most liberal members of the Senate, who is anything but, sexist or racist.

And I think it's going to hurt Hillary in the general election--the way she got there.

I'm not sure it's the party anymore, that angers me. I think it's the limousine neo-democrats, the people who've got pretty good lives, and are unwilling to bother including the base, our desires, our wishes into the mix. We're expected to hold up the party object, but be silent. I'm tired of that, and I understand how politicians might ignore us--but I'm tired of that half of the voters that keeps choosing a near-Republican for a candidate.

We had something really good this time---someone who actually put his finger on the problem, who brought it out into the open. And limo-libs have cluelessly been tirelessly working to take him out, not with any sound policy choices, as she's been pretty mum about those. Hillary has followed the standard politics, say very little, and your opponent will have little to actually criticize. So, no wonder her accusations--it's all she's got.

I could find you a hundred posts on DU criticizing Clinton that were not rebutted using a charge of sexism.

What Bermie fans can't seem to understand is that if he won the nomination the shitstorm that hit him from the GOP would make their heads spin. The GOP wants Bernie to win because he'd be easier to beat in the GE. Just ask them. And that's why they've held their fire on Bernie.

"By the way, they screwed all Democrats. Because now Trump is going to be ACTUALLY SEXIST. He's already sexist to every woman there is out there; he's going to be horrifically sexist to Hillary Clinton.

But they (the Trump team) are going to say, hey, you just said that about Bernie Sanders ('he's sexist'). So we don't believe you at all! You just said it about the least sexist guy in the country!

So when you say it about Donald Trump, you ruined it. Now we don't believe it, and Trump's gonna get a free pass."
