Other countries will get this technology

I've mentioned that several times to people over the past few years
Then what happens?
If the Gov't of some country where we used them gets them, are they justified in using them against, say the person who controlled them that killed people in their country, against the officer that ordered it, the president?

If we give ourselves license to fly drones into countries we're not even at war with, and blow up homes and villages under the guise of hunting terrorists while killing innocent civilians, what's to stop any other country with similar capability from doing the same here?

These are very serious crimes and amount to terrorism on the part of the US.

Iran, that hellhole where being gay is punishable by death. Women go to jail for speaking out for equal rights, where thug hijab police patrol the streets making sure women's head are covered. That same theocratic government is cynical enough to make this video on the streets of Washington DC, asking women their opinion? In Iran, thanks to Sharia law, a woman's testimony is worth half of a man's in court.

Yesterday, the government forced a jailed woman artist & political prisoner to take a "virginity test". http://www.middleeasteye.net/news/amnesty-slams-iran-over-virginity-test-jailed-painter-1608442466

Yeah, fuck PressTV & the gov't of Iran and that hilariously-biased cherry-picking fake-news video.

Iran slammed for conducting 'virginity test' on jailed artist

Amnesty International says treatment of Atena Farghadani, jailed for 'insulting MPs through paintings', was tantamount to torture

Atena Farghadani, 28, seen here with an art piece, was tried for 'illegitimate relations' with her lawyer after they shook hands (Facebook)

Civilian casualties in the ME and various other locations, as in Libya and Pakistan, are justified? You believe that the drone program has helped to "calm the waters" on terrorism? You believe 15 yrs of military intervention, occupation, drone strikes, bombing strikes, etc, have reduced the level of violence in these countries?

Or have you come to attack Iran for being behind on human rights as a means to begin a war with them? Isn't it this year they begin selling oil on global market? Isn't Saudi Arabia, our "friends" and some of the worst, absolute WORST violators of human rights and women's rights and distributor across the ME of money, schools, and weapons that encourage extremism? Also, isn't Netanyahooo always wanting some justification to use his nucs against Iran?

And as far as human rights and women rights violations: this occurred in the United States...
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-watch/wp/2015/08/13/in-texas-police-stick-hand-up-womans-vagina-to-search-for-marijuana/ I'm sure he wasn't checking her "vaginal status", but he sure as hell was violating something.

I'm wondering why you came to attack the source and not the message? Good luck with your own propaganda intrusion.

A shill for the Iranian Regime?

Why do you think it's not OK to post articles here from Freeper or Breitbart or a host of other RW sources?

Because you cannot trust what they say.

I am not in favor of drones, but we need to be more careful of our sources here.

...impune the credibility of PressTV simply by claiming it to be a "shill for the Iranian Regime," what would you say ABC News is?

How 'bout CBS News, or NBC? What about the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, or Washington Post? Are these not ALL stateside corporate owned media shills for the US and other Western regimes.

Could I not claim, with all the same validity you do, that each of these media organizations is an unworthy source, making the same specious non-argument?

....Let us be crystal clear – we are all uninformed as long as we listen to and believe in the mainstream media – which are controlled by six Anglo-Zionist media giants, feeding the western public with 90% of the information, the so-called ‘news’ that we consume so eagerly every day; the barrage of lies that repeat themselves in every western country every hour on the hour – and, thus, become the truth. Period.

We must get out of our comfortable armchairs, listen to that innermost spark in the back of our minds, telling us against all avalanches of lies that there is something wrong, that we are being fed deception. We have to dig for the truth. And it is there – on internet, on alternative media, like Global Research, Information Clearing House, VNN, The Saker, NEO, Russia Today, Sputnik News, PressTV, TeleSUR – and many more credible sources of truth-seekers....

"Anglo-Zionist"? At least you're honest about where you're coming from: basic Jews-control-the media BS.

The Saker is a basic Holocaust denial, see http://www.democraticunderground.com/1017220603#post17

VNN is an anti-Jewish hate site http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1014&pid=647712

It's very revealing that you lump those two in with RT, Telesur, PressTV, Global Research, Infoclearinghouse and all the other fake news sources--I agree that they are all equal in creditability (AKA NOT).

Can I ask how this anti-Semitic hatesite worldview you are promoting fits in on this progressive, democratic web forum?

and I'm sure that under him there will be less of it.

BUT I've heard Bernie in an interview say he will continue, to some extent at least, to use drone killings. IIRC he said something about some actions are necessary and he'd rather send in a drone that put any of our people at risk. Sorry, just from memory, no link, but I don't think it's any great secret, this info is out there.

Disappointed me, though I am less disappointed by Bernie than by any candidate ever.
