It needs to stop.
Sad to see a progressive outlet falling in line and giving the billionaire free advertising.

(3,919 posts)real issues - because these are what cenk and bernie are aiming toward. every one gets cake and gets to eat it, too - except trump will have it in his face. he may just actually melt down, have a tantrum and walk out of the race because he will not be able to bear the humiliation or responsibility for what he did to himself.

(53,154 posts)For corporate media, not democracy. Democracy happens at the ballot box. You know, the elections Bernie and co. argue should be overturned to install him into power against the will of the majority of the electorate. It's disingenuous to pretend a concern for democracy while arguing that a minority of voters is inherently superior and should therefore rule over the majority, to support the disenfranchisement of the Democratic majority, particularly historically disenfranchised groups like people of color. When a candidate and supporters decode his political career takes precedence over equal voting rights, it reveals contempt for democracy. That you use that term while supporting Bernie's efforts to discount the votes of the overwhelming majority of voters is completely offensive.
