(111,258 posts)who have misread demographic shifts and are still upset over Olberman.
Letting him get away, no matter how impossible he was to work with, was the dumbest thing they've ever done.

(9,033 posts)they have totally misread where we are as a nation. They deserve the fall they will take (I used to be a dedicated watcher and I won't even tune into Rachel anymore).

(254 posts)I can NOT STAND Brian Williams. Now every time there is an election Rachel has Williams in tow. What a disgrace for her and MSGOP.
It now seems like all Rachel's shows deal with is Drumpf, nearly 100%. I am sick and tired of hearing anymore crap about that turd, Drumpf. I don't watch Rachel's program live, I record it. That way I can fast forward segments that deal with Drumpf, which leaves very little time for other stories.
BTW, why does she keep saying, "Watch this space"? What the hell is she talking about? since you can't watch any particular space on TV in the first place.
Another pet peeve is when she constantly tells us that there is "...much more to come..." when there is about 2 or 3 minutes left in her program. That's not enough time to do even a short piece let alone much more to come...

(45,984 posts)They don't care if anyone watches them. What they're trying to sell is advertising to corporations, which are run by people who long ago lost so much of their humanity that they think they are corporations. So MSNBC tells the corporations that they will tell their viewers that corporations are better than people and should have more rights. CNN has benn successful at this model for quite some time ago.

(2,586 posts)MSNBC is a corporation, just like the Clinton News Network (CNN) and Fixed News. They're for candidates and issues that most benefit their existence. They don't care about actual news or people with real credentials to speak about the social sciences: they care about the message their hand picked hacks are spewing on a daily basis. The media only cares about itself and its profits to its shareholders. The days of Walter Cronkite journalism died with him: its all about spin, sensationalism, and how much of a buck they can make on our ignorance.
