Just because Bernie and Hillary voted the same way on 93% of the votes available to them in Congress, that is NOTHING resembling "agreeing with Hillary 93% of the time." Their disagreements are between a Progressive and a center right Republican. Why, do you suppose it's so nearly impossible for Bernie supporters to switch to Hillary? It's because, relative to Bernie, she is absolutely, without any doubt, a neoliberal neocon, i.e. a DINO acting like a Republican. Hillary Clinton is running against Trump because her husband and Obama pushed Republicans out of their place by acting just like them, except for issues of identity politics and climate change. Hillary doesn't even give a shit about climate change, leaving one category of issues with which she aligns as an actual Progressive.

It absolutely kills me how Hillary supporters actually use the same "talking points" just like Republicans do. If you can't see her as she is, I cannot help you. On the other hand, maybe you're fine with her Republican objectives, attitudes and tactics.

Seems they are all ready for the echo chamber ahead of schedule.

Bernie has pulled the curtains back on the dirty secret of the complete control over our politicians and the MSM by the Oligarch's. With DU becoming the "Hillary Cannot be Questioned" site, it seems they are taking over the Internet one Progressive site at a time! They will spend whatever it takes to do it too!

There is no convincing any of the Hillary supporters at this point of the truth, but facts are still facts. We allow legal bribery of our elected officials and leave our electronic voting a big unprotected mess, what do we expect? The media sure don't talk about it except to rank candidates by how much in legal bribes each has raked in. We are supposed to believe every politician who takes money from big donors that it has no effect, when a Princeton study shows that it absolutely does! Do we really even need a study to confirm this?

Viva the political revolution!

"You folks" doesn't work either.

I'll let Rachel explain it to you:

http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/you-people-new-generation

If you google the term, you'll get an earful.

No one's outraged at Sanders (that's quite the stretch to even imagine that) --some might be disappointed, or even dismayed, but outraged? Pfffft. He's coming off as churlish, childish, and small-minded, but it's all on him. He can "come with" or he can get left behind. Petty is not a good look and it does not improve with time.

Elizabeth Warren has joined the Clinton campaign and is doing the job Sanders has yet to step up and do. SHE is getting the media attention, HER words are being rebroadcast over and over again.

She was the "preferred progressive" in the first place, anyway. So...whatever.

12. Tulsi Gabbard's early influence
Sat Jun 18, 2016, 12:26 PM
Jun 2016

was her father Mike Gabbard:

Gerald Michael "Mike" Gabbard (born January 15, 1948) is a Democratic member of the Hawaii Senate, representing District 20. He has been a Senator since 2006. He has social conservative political views and rose to prominence for his successful effort to pass an amendment to the Constitution of Hawaii in 1998 to give the state legislature "the power to reserve marriage to opposite-sex couples".[citation needed] He is also a businessman and musician.

-Snip-

In 1995, Mike Gabbard co-founded the nonprofit Stop Promoting Homosexuality America,[5] which filed for the trade name Alliance For Traditional Marriage, "to educate the general public about the necessity of preserving traditional marriage".[6] Gabbard served as president[7] until the organization's involuntary dissolution in 2004.

-Snip-

On August 30, 2007, Gabbard switched from the Republican Party of Hawaii to the Democratic Party of Hawaii. His stated reason for doing so was that he believed that he could be more effective to his constituents as part of the majority party in the State Senate, where Democrats have long had a supermajority.[16] This switch in parties has been of some controversy, including repeated complaints regarding his opposition to the Democratic Party of Hawai'i's platform, and possible actions that may impact other Democrats.

Tulsi Gabbard's Moment of Truth

Rumor is that your support of the LGBT community is not genuine. Given your (and your father’s) statements against LGBT rights in the past, why should people believe you've changed?

Tulsi: I've gone through some extraordinary experiences over the last decade, which have led me to realize that I could not, in good conscience, fight for liberty and freedom overseas while advocating something less than that here at home. That was an important decision for me and, in that context, I fully recognize that protecting the equal rights of all Americans, including those in the LGBT community, is an obligation we must strive to fulfill. This personal journey makes sense to most people I talk to.

Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (HI-02) restates the need for transparency in the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) on the House floor.

On Spying and the 4th Amendment

Tulsi questions "Defense" Secretary Ashton "Goldman Sachs" Carter

If she is a genuine Sanders clone, then he has sold a lot of his supporters a bill of goods. Tulsi Gabbard is a Republican in a Democratic uniform.

The good news, though, is that she has a real-life liberal challenger!

http://mauitime.com/news/politics/maui-democratic-party-activist-shay-chan-hodges-says-shes-running-against-u-s-rep-tulsi-gabbard/

This individual appears to have an actual LIBERAL agenda (as opposed to a protectionist, shades-of-right-wing, Let's Bomb Syria and insult my CinC boss "progressive(?)" agenda).

The Darling of Fauxsnooze will probably survive the challenge (since she appeals to conservative Democrats AND Republicans-and she has fooled a lot of new voters with this "progressive" badge, now), but it's probably not a bad idea to let her know that she is indeed vulnerable.

I'm afraid with Gabbard, you've been sold a bill of goods--she is not a "liberal," and she's not even a genuine "progressive."

Anyone can gripe about "DLC" (organization has been defunct for a half decade now, and dormant even longer, but never mind that), and "neoliberal/New Dem" economic theory all the live-long day, but people who aren't for equality in all its forms are NOT Democrats.

That's the bottom line.

Our tent is big--and it shelters liberal Dems, moderate ones, and (like it or not) conservative ones too--but there are some basic views that are quite frankly, tells. A failure to robustly endorse quality in all forms is one of 'em.

One can support equal rights "in all forms" but not support economic theory/policy that is in the best interest of workers/middle class. Or one can support both. Neo-libs don't support both. Hillary's a neoliberal. DLC ushered neoliberalism into the Democratic Party as the economic theory favored by party leadership -- defunct or not, that's relevant!

In case I haven't been straight-forward enough, I support equal rights among all people 100% and always have. So what's your bone with that?

Let's see if you can grasp some nuance.

I will not be voting for Clinton. As I live in NC, my vote will have no effect on the actual outcome. Therefore, I have the luxury of not voting for her. I support neither her nor Trump. I will not have my vote contribute to any delusion-of-mandate that I expect her to assume after winning the election.

The only reason she will win with popular support is that Trump is more awful.

I will be voting for down-ticket dems because the NC government is overrun with republicans and the state needs balance.

The suit alleges that Hillary won by rigging the vote.

It appears there is another similar lawsuit being filed by the Institute for American Democracy and Election Integrity.

I'm getting this from various internet sources.

...and yet found Hilary's win genuine in spite of all that. Do take a look at the video below. I'll add that almost every poster here (that I've read) agrees that the primary rules need serious changing. Hilary and Sanders supports alike. But as you'll see in the video, the problems aren't entirely the fault of the party as states get a say in how they want to do things as well.

As for lawsuits being filed...I'm sure. Lawsuits were filed against Obama being president, saying that he wasn't born in America. They went to the Supreme Court, which decided that they were not true. So, all we're really saying when we point to a lawsuit being filed is that someone believes they can prove something is true, not that something is true.
