Jerry Lewis is to France. They were obviously threatened by a good news story about Obama. Nothing Obama does can ever go unmolested by the right.

... at this incredible human being we have serving us as President. I'm virtually speechless at how much he's been able to accomplish, in his life and in his term of office, especially considering the enormous antipathy and huge impediments he's had to face. On top of being so incredibly accomplished, he shows excellence in being a father, a husband, and just a human being. His intellectual exemplars are only exceeded by his emotional balance and good humor. He demonstrates that most ephemeral of human attributes--what I call "grace." People just feel better about themselves in his presence and it can be seen clearly in how they conduct themselves with him. This is an extraordinary attribute, one that I've only found in two or three people in my entire life! We've been blessed to have him as President. We haven't deserved him.

I regard him as the greatest President in my lifetime, and I was born when FDR was President and I was a sideboy for JFK. I believe he'll be regarded by historians as one of the, if not THE greatest President in the history of the US. I could quibble with him about some of the choices he's made ... but the thing is, I'd ENJOY quibbling with him and just know he'd teach me a lot in doing so.

Especially these bits:

"His intellectual exemplars are only exceeded by his emotional balance and good humor. He demonstrates that most ephemeral of human attributes--what I call "grace."
...

We've been blessed to have him as President. We haven't deserved him."
