Thank you for posting this!

I have a link to report about Garrison Keillor signing off.

A Prairie Home Companion was the great Robert Altman’s last film. It was released in 2006. The cast included Meryl Streep, Lily Tomlin, and Tommy Lee Jones. A marvelous film. Nominated five times for the Oscar for best director (MASH, 1970; Nashville, 1975; The Player, 1992; Short Cuts, 1993; Gosford Park, 2001), Altman died at age 81.

When I was working in the city and later when I was homesteading on my little farm, never missed a show.
My kids grew up listening to it.

Nothing lasts forever, but the fact that millions tuned in every week for over 30 years is a respectable achievement for Keillor.

Gonna miss him.

Garrison Keillor sings with the Powdermilk Biscuit Band—Mary DuShane, Bob Douglas and Adam Granger—in the mid-‘70s

(check out his thick black beard)
