In fact, I've experienced this feeling many times in my life. Even just three weeks ago. By a too drunk neighbor I've know and respected for 20 years.

First reaction is always shock and initial paralysis. Stunned, I guess. And then the flight instinct kicks in.

It is the aftermath when the emotions overwhelm and it is far worse. Ana Marie explains it perfectly. The helplessness is indescribable.

I can't believe that at 54, I still have to put up with shit like this.

I'm remembering the pissed off, and anger, that I had when it happen to me. I never ever had anything as bad that happened to that People reporter (thank dog), but anything like that...when you feel you have no power and control, what little donnie does to women, yeah...I'm pissed.
