Kent Couch and Iraqi pilot Fareed Lafta attempt their two man balloon flight from Bend, Oregon. The two pilots sat in lawn chairs on a platform that was strapped with 350 helium-filled balloons ... Kent Couch has gone on solo balloon flights before. This was, however, the first two person balloon flight. But the weather caught up with the balloonists, and they had to land sooner than they anticipated ... He also adds that the stunt was to bring awareness to the public about the plight of Iraqi orphans ...
