The Final Interview With The Obamas (Full Interview) PEN Entertainment Weekly

Sleepovers on the South Lawn with Girl Scouts? Grandma's perspective? Letting go of the daughters? The daughters letting go of the White House as home? An open First Family staying conservative in their parenting?

I can't say enough how I'll miss our All-American Family. We will never have another First Family like them.

It's with a heavy heart that I say farewell to this family as the last vestige of America's democracy.

It's beautiful.

Prez needs a break, but he'll be back. Looking forward to the next chapter from these two. They care.

I've appreciated the whole eight years because I've been around long enough to know how special these two are. We've been blessed, even if America hasn't made the most of the incredible opportunity they represented for our country.
