(1,183 posts)Not one of them is electable. The American people are wise enough to see what a group of losers these people are
Some are downright not worthy to be in a campaing for the office of the President of the United States of America.

(15,682 posts)abortion you sure felt your wife was the valuable human life over the fetus, didn't you, asshole?
STFU you smug, self righteous POS!!

(2,284 posts)I agree with every thing you say. Why does no one challenge him on that? Are they too delicate and "nice" to bring it up? You can bet if a Democrat's wife had an abortion it would be fair game.

(2,485 posts)didn't make any changes as regards to what constitutes a person. The Supreme Court, however, did. This is the biggest danger to the general public. Perhaps Rick could work on that for us. Reverse Citizens United.

(124 posts)Really, Rick? You, an Italian-American are throwing around racist stereotypes to make a point?
I can think of a lot of Italian stereotypes.
For example: Italians in Italy tend to be pro-choice.

(674 posts)but what Santorum said is "I find it almost remarkable for a black man to say now we're gonna decide who are people and who are not people.
That statement is so over the top racist and false that it deserves a sensational title as well as national outrage. Couple this with the statement he made in Iowa today about not wanting to make black people's lives better by giving them other people's money and you have, I would think, enough to throw his ass out of the race and out of the party.
I know racism is one of the fundamental issues for motivating the republican base but Santorum has stepped way over the line of using the standard code, like "welfare reform", to transmit the message.

(27,630 posts)this is what he is implying: He isn't convinced that black people are fully people...or maybe he is personally convinced blacks are people, but yet there is some lingering doubt.
It's like he's saying blacks should know their place, because they're lucky we give blacks the benefit of the doubt and call them people.
This is my interpretation of what ol' frothy-mix Santorum meant. Why else would he say such a thing?
