I feel sorry for kids that will never know the excitement of Saturday morning cartoons. My mom would leave snacks out for me and my brother so they could sleep in while we watched the only cartoons that there were for the whole week.

Kids today can turn on the TV at any time and there they are...

We just had Saturday mornings (with a big bowl of Apple Jacks or Captain Crunch or King Vitaman cereal...lol) and in some local markets (like here in Philly and other big cities) - some before or after school via hosted audience shows for children.
