(2,190 posts)About a month ago I read an article online--can't remember the source, but I remember that I considered to be credible--that stated that small political donations from military personnel serving overseas favored Obama over Romney by a ratio of 5 to 1.
Its not.

(1 post)Vet here, VFW Life Member. Wish I had been there. The President is doing a damn fine job with what he was given, and all the Rightards (my term, copyright applies) can do is throw unbelievable nastiness up on their facebook pages. Don't worry, they are already slinging their feces like monkeys all over the VFW facebook page. We will see how smug they are come November when this statesman wins reelection.

(26,327 posts)You might want to edit your post to remove the "copyright" term you used. It's offensive to some folks -even the derivative used to describe righties. It will probably get your post hidden and get you locked out of this thread.
Just a suggestion.

(58,162 posts)i think he`s going to do more for you guys in his next term than any president has in a long long time. maybe he can clean up the mess the va has become. my brother in law received excellent care before he died but he never received the disability payments he was owed. his best friend also went though the same thing.both were vietnam vets, served in the same unit ,and died of the same disease.

(21,144 posts)It's so obvious that rmoney's people are not into him. It makes me think those polls are bogus showing rmoney ahead. I never see people excited seeing rmoney. Those horrible ads are not going to change my mind about reelecting the President and I doubt these supporters will change their mind either.

(22,896 posts)You're right-- people look either glum or bored at Nitt events. You can always tell an Obama event-- people crowd around him, smiling, holding out their hands-- nope, you sure don't see that around ol' Nitt.

Screw this playing chess on three levels, I got to Reno today and will sell all these folks on me and my party.
So Mittens worked the audience today, do you figure he did as well. Lets face there are just as many racists there as anywhere else, maybe more. But I hear the President and think good thoughts and hear Mitts and think he is a real bore, how can anyone think about this fool as President.

Don't get me wrong; there are several things that I (along with others here) wish he would've did differently like not bailing on the public option and cracking down more on Wall St. But overall, I think he did a good job for a president who has been up against an unfriendly congress, and he had OBL killed and ended the Iraq War like he said he would.
