2. I use credit cards on auto-pay for all my recurring charges

So I'm getting some small percentage back on my mobile phone bill every month.

Oh, and I set it to pay off the entire charged balance every month.

I don't spend too much anyway, but if I want to spend less, I just look at my bank account to remind myself.

I know this is atypical, kind of like being a card-counter at a casino, but it works.


The real key is to realize that stuff is not happiness.

even if meant for laugh's. I don't have a credit card period. You would not BELIEVE the trouble I have because of that fact. I do have a prepaid debit card just because it IS so hard to live without that little piece of plastic.

4. I cringe every time I see those Capitol One commercials.

Especially those with Samuel L Jackson where he says "cash back" 100,000,000 times. Cash back = 0.005% on every $100 you spend, coming from a guy who has more money than god. What's in my wallet? Never, under a million years will it ever be Capitol One.
