All I can say is "I guess you had to be there.". I'm not saying that to be a smartass, just glad that I was. Very bittersweet that so much time has passed.

I shared a 4 man apt. and one of the guys came home with it. But, it didn't take long for it to grow on you. BTW, the roomie who brought it home, became a minor star in Hollywood. I won't mention his name. We had a bit of strained relationship near the end. He was always shutting me out of our bedroom when he was porking some chick. He was a handsome guy who attracted nice chicks. But when my steady GF came for a weekend he barged into the bedroom while we were in the sack.

Put it on at a party and the whole house would change. Beautiful work of art. And I didn't hear it until 1977. Is that weird? I was in Saudi for most of my childhood, and the Beatles were forbidden and dangerous to own. I had a friend who had a bootleg cassette with just the song 'Michelle' on it. We were all freaked out by it. Brave fucker.

God I love that album.
