Related: About this forumRemember When Ted Nugent Threatened Obama?
I am in no way defending this type of behavior, but there is a double standard. The way the repukes acted against Obama, Hillary, Bill, Bernie Sanders and the list goes on, was just as and very often more reprehensible and seemingly never ending. Heck, they still grossly attack them. Hillary can't even critique her own campaign without vicious attacks from the right.
On Edit: And oh yeah, as they mention in the video, wasn't Nugent recently welcomed at the White House?

(4,341 posts)That is giving ammunition to the repubs, and going as low as they always do...She should have given it more thought...I always say that if you are angry at someone and you feel you need to write them an email to tell them how angry you are, then write the email, but don't send it, come back 10 minutes later and read it, and I bet you anything that you will either throw it away or re-write it.
That is what differentiates people like Nungent, and the rest of the thinking World, and Griffin, IMO, did not take the time to think before she acted.
"THINK BEFORE YOU ACT" will get you out of trouble every time.
Although I like her, I cannot defend what she did because it was an action with no real message. Somebody in DU said it right, "two wrongs do not make a right."

(1,074 posts)To me, the most egregious part of this whole story, is not what Griffin or Nugent did or said. The most damning part of this whole story, to me, is that tRUMP has the nerve to come down on Griffin when he actually invited Nugent to the White House, even though Nugent was guilty of acts similar to Griffin!
