Seth Meyers - Trump's Response to Charlottesville: A Closer Look - 8/14/17

Seth takes a closer look at Trump finally bending to two days of public pressure to unequivocally denounce white supremacists, neo-Nazis and the KKK in the wake of violent rallies in Charlottesville, Virginia.

I know, Seth is totally under-rated. I don't usually stay up that late, but I watch his videos on smirkymonkey Aug 2017 #3

We look to the likes of Stephen Colbert and John Oliver to speak for us - and I like them, too - but Seth tends to get overlooked, maybe because he's on later, but he's just as relevant and just keeps getting better. I watched him during the campaign and was impressed with his knowledge of the issues. He asked all the right questions no matter who he had on - and you can tell that he feels as strongly as we do just by the expression on his face, especially last night.

you tube, DU or other liberal websites. A lot of his appeal is his knowledge of the issues, but there is just something about his delivery and facial expressions that is especially charming. Plus, he's kind of easy on the eyes. I also think John Oliver is a riot as well.

Colbert is pretty good, but I kind of think he's over-rated. I just don't see what everyone else seems to see in him. I never really warmed up to him.

It used to be the occasional segment on a specific issue, but now he has one almost every day. He's informed and as passionate as any of the others we watch - besides being able to see the humor. But he's more low key than Colbert or Oliver - and certainly Bill Maher, LOL. Maybe it's because he's on later, but I think it's just his personality, he'd be much easier to know.

I became a fan of Stephen Colbert after that infamous Washington Correspondents' Dinner speech, think that was when he really made his bones and led to his late great show, but he's also willing to cross a few lines that Seth just wouldn't.
