Millions of Americans will never forget Anita Hill's riveting testimony before Biden's committee.

And all the men's failure to do her justice.

This is just a part of her testimony, and it doesn't include the harsh questioning she was subject to.

ready to validate Hill's testimony is surely one of his most eggregious. I remained angry about it for decades. Only Sen Alan Simpson (R-WY) engendered more anger from me.

I wish we could revisit this case and give Prof Hill some justice Still, I think Biden has done a LOT of good for women since and I think he deserves to be evaluated on balance.

2. He still has, I believe, a weakness that led to his failure in this hearing.

He wants to be liked -- too much. He wants to be the good guy. And Presidents can't always be liked and won't always be seen as the good guy.

4. I like Joe as a #2, but I think that he could flunk another major test, as he did with Anita Hill.

That was a real miscarriage of justice that still hurts America and Anita. No undoing even a small part of it. Clarence Thomas lacks the ethical character to apologize and resign. So, I hope that Joe finds peace in an NGO.

9. A couple of Biden quotes.

I couldn't find a video of his questioning of her, but I found this piece where he's questioning Clarence.

For one thing, while talking to Thomas he said both he and Hill were “two very credible people.”

Hah! Biden knew otherwise. He knew Thomas was a liar, but he let the R's interrogate her like they were on a witch hunt. Which they were.

Here's another Biden quote (I'd have more but I couldn't stand to watch more than a couple minutes):

Biden to Thomas:
"Again I go back to the point you made time and again, and admirably, that you had not second guessed the professor’s credibility until now, it came as a shock to you, as you state."

WHY would it be admirable that Thomas had never second guessed Anita Hill's credibility till now? Why would it be admirable? What about her might make someone have doubts about her credibility? Her race? Her gender? What was Biden implying? There's nothing "admirable" about failing to "second-guess" your highly qualified assistant's "credibility," i.e., her truthfulness.

11. And that is why Biden will never make it to the Presidency

This was not a fair trial, it was a gang of white men not believing a woman, and the result was not good, Thomas was confirmed.

Biden tries to run and this will come to haunt him.
