of whom more voted for Clinton than for him) by the electoral college, that he is entitled to keep his position no matter what.

No.

Every elected official, I repeat, every elected official is a servant of the people. The impeachment clause was written into the Constitution because the Founding Fathers wanted to remind all presidents, not just Trump, that they serve at the pleasure of the people and Congress.

We want presidents whose conduct including past conduct is as impeccably honest and loyal to the American people and country as possible.

Mueller was chosen to investigate Trump because he is widely respected for his integrity and honesty. Part of Trump's job as president is to open his life, his will, his honor, his conduct, past, present and future up for review by Congress (It's in the Constitution -- the impeachment clause). That's part of the bargain he made when he took the oath of office.

Is it a very, very high standard? Yes. But he enjoys a very, very great honor and has a very, very great responsibility to represent and SERVE the American people, every last one of us.

President Clinton was under scrutiny, nearly every aspect of his life, right down to his sex life, for many, many years. It's part of the job. So was Obama. It isn't a partisan thing. This is the reality for each and every president.

To future candidates for president: we are a big country. Many of us are qualified to replace you. Some of us could do your job better than you. We and those we elect for Congress have the ability to hire and fire you if you don't serve us well. Remember that. This aspect of being president is non-partisan. You are our servant. You can be fired. Remember that phrase, "You're fired." It's part of the reality you live in as president. It isn't anything about you. Any president can be fired. The Constitution established a process for it. The Constitution is the ultimate authority in our country, not any person, not even the president.
