From the 1949 classic, The Third Man, one of the most famous speeches in movie history.

Orson Welles, the outstanding film director and actor portrays Harry Lime, a monstrous villain and con man working in devastated post-war Vienna. To his old friend and writer Holly Martins (Joseph Cotton) who has come to visit him, Harry disparages brotherly love, democracy and peace. Surely Harry was familiar with Machiavelli's work.

Note- the cuckoo clock mentioned by Harry in the scene is associated with Germany, not Switzerland.
